There’s a new tea towel loose in the garden, Seedlings. It started life as 3 separate designs; the seedlings, watering cans and cuttings. But I thought it worked much better when I threw all the elements together.

The Red Balloon little paper book

So here’s my last paper book for the time being - The Red Balloon. I can’t get away from this imagery; I have made a little wooden book, a triptych and a concertina card but I couldn’t help myself.
With more pages to fill there is more detail than previous incarnations. I’ve added rooftops and balloons galore.

There is a new paper book in the shops this week called Placing Things.
I have an obsession with small objects…things. And how lovely they are, just on their own, out of context. Like a tied piece of string, a bowl, an apple. I dug out my old poem book recently and some words from one poem inspired this little book.

Another new product is hitting the shelves this week - my first little paper book, 5 Days.
It’s a tale of long distance love, the disorientation of time difference and missing someone far far away, with a little retro BOAC love thrown in.

I now have a Folksy shop. Folksy is a new UK version of Etsy, they’re still in Beta mode at the moment so we’re testing it out but I’ve had my first sale and it’s all working fine! Shipping only in the UK for now but they are working towards international shipping. Good luck Folksy!
